About the Week

Get ready for the brightest week of the year! At Illumination Station VBS, kids will discover that Jesus isn’t just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher—He is the powerful Son of God and the Light of the world.

Kids will be challenged by Jesus’ question to His disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” As they explore the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, they’ll discover who Jesus truly is and why He alone brings hope to a dark world.

Theme Verse

“Jesus spoke to them again: 'I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.'” — John 8:12

What Kids Will Learn

·       Jesus is God’s promised Son

·       Jesus is God’s perfect Son

·       Jesus is the powerful Son of God

·       Jesus is the proven Son of God

·       Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness

Volunteers Needed

Calvary teens and adult volunteers are needed to help make this week incredible. There are roles for leaders, helpers, registration, snacks, games, crafts, and more. Please note, all volunteers must attend Calvary Church.
