Local, Global, Community Engagement

At Calvary, we believe every follower of Jesus is called to share God’s love – right where we live, and around the world. Our Local and Global Impact teams help our church build meaningful partnerships, support missionaries, and serve our community with compassion and truth.

To expand God’s Kingdom by demonstrating and proclaiming His love locally and globally.

We do this by:

  • Supporting partners through prayer, giving, and encouragement

  • Equipping Calvary to serve and share the gospel

Adopt A Village

The Adopt-A-Village program is transforming entire communities in Southeast Asia—one village at a time.

Through this 5 year partnership model, local pastors, women’s leaders, and volunteers work together to bring lasting change: clean water, literacy and education programs, medical care, safe homes for children, vocational training, and the hope of the gospel. What begins with one small step of faith grows into generational impact.

Calvary Church has the privilege of walking alongside our own adopted village, helping strengthen local believers and empower families through practical, sustainable ministry. Your support—whether through financial giving or joining a short-term mission team—directly fuels real transformation.

Bienvenido

Bienvenido Project is located on the western outskirts of Santo Domingo, in the Bienvenido neighborhood. The Project provides holistic care for over 300 Dominican and Haitan refugee children who experience food-insecurity, makeshift housing, a lack of educational opportunities, and voodoo practices. The Bienvenido Project cares for the social and spiritual development of the children through meals, school scholarships, tutoring, Kids Club, conversational English classes, and leadership development. Through these initiatives, the Bienvenido Project aims to offer hope for a life beyond material and spiritual poverty.
