Mental Health Series, Week 3
This summer, we're taking time to talk through the important topic of mental health. It's a topic that's incredibly relevant to both middle and high school students, and we believe it's important to open up the conversation in a way that is both loving and supportive.
Over the course of three weeks, we will be watching a video series that addresses anxiety, depression, and suicide. These sessions are designed not only to inform but also to invite open and honest discussion. After each video, students will have the chance to talk through what they've learned in a safe and caring environment.
Our goal is to create space where these important issues can be talked about freely and without shame. We want every student to know that our youth group is a place where support is offered, struggles are seen, and no one has to go through tough times alone. We want to make it clear that the Bible and the gospel message has something important to say about these topics as well.
If you'd like to preview thes series before your student participates, you're welcome to watch the videos using the below links:
Week 1: Anxiety - Tuesday, June 17th, 7pm - 8:30pm
Week 2: Depression - Tuesday, July 1st, 7pm - 8:30pm
Week 3: Suicide - Tuesday, July 15th, 7pm - 8:30pm
We believe this will be a meaningful and impactful time together, and we're grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our students as they grow in understanding and compassion. Please pray for this series to be impactful on our students!
